Shape the Next Generation of Accountants

Apply to our Faculty Track to receive an exclusive opportunity to access resources and develop strategies for success in leveraging your accounting experience to prepare the next generation of accounting talent.

In addition to free American Accounting Association (AAA), IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants), California Society of CPAs, and NABA Inc. membership, members of this Faculty Track will receive:

  • Participation in Strategies for Success in the College Classroom workshop facilitated by AAA.
  • Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging training through AAA certificate programs.
  • Opportunity to build a faculty practitioner network.
  • Continuing Professional Education courses that aid in development of supplemental subject matter.
  • Engaging IMA® resources for the classroom including IECJ® (IMA Educational Case Journal) teaching cases and notes, gamified teaching content, online self-study courses, and more.

This opportunity is available to Black accounting professionals who meet the following criteria:

  • Possess an accounting degree (undergraduate level or higher) or Master of Business Administration.
  • Commit to teaching as an adjunct faculty member for a two-year period.
  • Commit to participation in a 2-day Strategies for Success in the College Classroom workshop and completion of two AAA certificates: The Architecture of Inclusion and The Inclusive Classroom.
  • California resident during the program.
